About Us
Why the name Hazelwood?
Hazel, Dr. Flynn’s goofy 10 year old Golden Retriever and the namesake of our service, brings nothing but smiles to those around her. However, when it comes to veterinary care outside the home her anxiety makes the experience very stressful.
The dream of this service started with a focus on creating an environment that would allow her the care she needs in a way that keeps her as comfortable and happy as she deserves. Hazelwood Mobile Veterinary Services grew out of this idea with the hope that other animals and pet owners could have the same experience without sacrificing the quality of their veterinary care.
Pet owners and veterinary workers alike understand how truly valuable the companionship of a pet can be. It’s for this reason that many pet owners put so much love into the comfort and care of the animals that fill their lives with joy.
"I knew Dr. Flynn as he is my guinea pig’s vet and he has always been so knowledgeable and thorough with her, I had nothing but good experiences every time. Today I just so happened to see this post on the same day I noticed a wound on my Siberian husky so I called and he went above and beyond to make sure she got the treatment she needed. It’s obvious Dr. Flynn really cares about his patients and he made sure he knew exactly what was going on with my dog in order to give her the best care possible, which he has always done with my guinea pig in the past. He has always been so gentle and patient with my animals as well which is much appreciated. It’s so important to me that my animals receive the best care possible and this is definitely it! This service was well needed, it accommodates so many people who may not be able to get to a vet with their animal, animals who don’t like to go to the vet, reactive animals etc.. It was affordable as well, the prices were very reasonable and comparable to other veterinary clinics except this is in the comfort of your own home. This is where I will be going for any veterinary services I need in the future."
