Yes! Hazelwood clients are very fortunate to have access to emergency care 24/7 via our relationship with Avalon Animal Hospital. If your pet is experiencing an immediately life-threatening emergency, call 709-754-1750.

Hazelwood Veterinary Services are fortunate to be able to offer surgical services via a relationship with Avalon Animal Hospital. With the exception of specialty procedures, Dr. Flynn performs surgery at Avalon Animal Hospital. This allows access to more surgical monitoring equipment and staffing to give our patients as safe a surgical environment as possible.

Hazelwood Veterinary Services arrives at your home for a consultation with equipment and tools to be able to examine, collect samples for tests if needed, and provide an array of medications on site. It is helpful if owners prepare a nice area that allows for examination of your pet (ex: a cleared table for a small animal or an open space for a larger animal).

Hazelwood does not have immediate access to diagnostic imaging at this time. We currently have our patients sent to Avalon Animal Hospital for these services. Let us know if you have any questions regarding this process.

At this stage, we deliver medications to our clients while we are on the road seeing appointments. This means medication drop offs are fit between our appointments. Please reach out to arrange a medication drop off.
